Connecting Eaglesoft Real-time API for Arrival Status Updates

This guide explains how to connect the Eaglesoft real-time API to Practice by Numbers (PbN). This connection allows arrival status indicators to be updated in Eaglesoft when changed within PbN.

1. Open the Server Control Panel on your server.

2. Navigate to Settings:

• Go to "Settings"
• Select "More"

3. Enter Eaglesoft Credentials:

• Enter a username and password from your Eaglesoft system. This user must have full admin rights.
• It is recommended to create a new user for PBN with a secure, hard-to-guess password.
• The first time you enter the credentials, you will encounter the following error: "This subscription does not have approval to access the system."

4. Manage Integrated Applications:

• Open Eaglesoft.
• Go to "Manage Integrated Applications".
• Find the Practice by Numbers entry and allow it to access your Eaglesoft.

5. Re-enter Credentials:

• Return to the Server Control Panel.
• Re-enter your credentials.
• This time, the operation should succeed.

6. Save and Restart Services:

• Click "Save".
• Restart the services.
