New Patient Production KPIs in Practice IQ

New patients production KPIs are located on the Financial page of Practice IQ. A new patient is someone who is seen for the first time in the practice for any procedure code (i.e. patient had ledger activity for the first time). It goes by the patient's first visit in the practice, not looking if a comprehensive exam was done.

  • New patient production per New patient: is calculated by dividing adjusted production done on new patients by the number of new patients seen in the time range.

  • New Patient Production %: %age of adjusted production done on New patients only. For example from the screen shot if 7.1 % production is coming from new patients then the remaining 92.9 % is coming from existing patients.

  • Production form New Patients (adj): Production done on new patients only. You can change the time period to 'Last 12 months' or 'Last year' for a 12 month range.
