How to Set Up Office and Provider Hours to Accurately Calculate Utilization KPIs
Setting Up Office Hours
1. Access Settings:
- Click the menu icon in the upper-right corner of the page and select Settings.
- Navigate to Office and Provider Hours.
2. Define Office Hours:
- Set your office's regular work hours, including significant breaks (e.g., lunch).
- Practice by Numbers (PbN) will use your appointment book to account for days when the office is closed or patients are not seen.
Setting Up Provider Hours
1. Access Provider Hours:
- Find the provider's name within the Office and Provider Hours section.
2. Configure Provider Schedule:
- If a provider’s schedule differs from the office schedule, check the box next to their name to enter their specific hours.
- If a provider follows the same schedule as the office, leave the checkbox unchecked.
3. Handling Varying Schedules:
