What is A2P 10DLC Registration?

A2P 10DLC registration is a new requirement that started in early 2022. It's meant to help phone carriers and regulators ensure that only legitimate messages are sent and to reduce spam and fraud.

Key Information:

Deadline: You must complete your 10DLC registration by March 31, 2023.

Impact: If you miss this deadline, your SMS messages might be blocked, and you could face fines.

Fees: Practice by Numbers will cover the registration fees if completed before the deadline. After March 31, 2023, you'll be responsible for the fees, which include a $4 Brand registration fee and a $15 campaign fee from The Campaign Registry (TCR).

How to Register:

1. Open Settings:

Click the Menu icon in the top right corner of Practice by Numbers.
Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.

2. Access A2P 10DLC Settings:

On the Settings page, find the “Communication” section.
Click on “A2P 10DLC Settings.”

3. Enter Your Information:

Provide your legal business name, Federal Tax ID/EIN, and other essential details.
Practice by Numbers will then forward this information to the TCR for you.

Important: Ensure that the information you provide matches what you used to register your business in your state. Incorrect details could lead to registration rejection. If you need to resubmit, there is a $4 fee per resubmission.
