Defining Cancellations and No Shows in Eaglesoft

To ensure accurate Practice IQ results, handle cancellations and no-shows in the following way:


  1. In the Eaglesoft Appointment module, right-click on the specific appointment and select "Delete this Appointment."
  2. A dialog window will appear. Select either "Failed" or "Cancelled" based on your office policy.
  3. Make sure to deselect the "Add to QuickFill List" option.


By doing this, Practice by Numbers (PbN) will prioritize tracking these appointments, and you'll get accurate KPIs to evaluate your canceled and failed appointment rates. If an appointment is added to the QuickFill list and later used to create a new appointment, PbN cannot track the history of the failed or canceled visit.
