Opt-In/Opt-Out Settings in your PMS

To ensure patients are set up to receive emails and texts, you need to check specific settings in their chart within your PMS. Here’s how to do it for Open Dental, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft.

Open Dental

1. Exclude eConfirms/eReminders Box

   • Opted In: If "Text/Email" is not selected in the drop-down.
   • Opted Out: If "Text/Email" is selected in the drop-down.

2. Text OK Box

   • Note: PBN does not read the information entered in this box.

Dentrix

1. Privacy Requests Box
   • Opted In: If the box is not selected.
   • Opted Out: If the box is selected.

Eaglesoft

1. Receives e-mail correspondence and Receives text messages Box
   • Opted In: If the box is selected.
   • Opted Out: If the box is not selected.
