Override PMS Communication Settings

How to Override Contact Preferences in Your PMS with Practice by Numbers Settings

In Practice by Numbers (PbN), you can choose to override the contact preferences set in your Practice Management System (PMS) with those configured in PbN. This allows you to ensure that only the preferences specified in PbN are used for communications.

Accessing Communication Settings

1. Navigate to Settings: Click on the Menu icon at the top right corner of the screen.

2. Open Communication Settings: Select Settings from the menu, and then locate Communication Settings.

Enabling PMS Override

1. Select PMS Override: In the Communication Settings, click on PMS Override on the left side.

2. Configure Preferences: You'll find separate settings for Text Messages and Emails. By selecting these options, you can ensure that PbN preferences override those in your PMS.

Every automated message sent will include an option for the patient to opt out of future messages, maintaining compliance and respecting patient preferences.
