Settings for Calculating Adjusted Production Numbers in Practice by Numbers

When calculating adjusted production numbers, Practice by Numbers (PbN) uses the setting "Use initial claim date for write-off estimates, ins pay date for write-off adjustments." Ensure this option is selected when running production reports.

Importance of Not Using "Procedure Date"

PbN does not use the "procedure date" for adjustments to prevent changes to your production numbers from previous days or months. For instance, if you receive a payment for an appointment from 6 weeks ago, using the "procedure date" would alter your adjusted production from 2 months ago. By using the specified setting, you maintain consistency in your production reports, avoiding unexpected changes.

By selecting the correct settings, you can ensure accurate and consistent production numbers in Practice by Numbers.
