Opening the PbN Desktop App from Open Dental

Open Dental users can now launch the Practice by Numbers (PbN) Desktop app directly from Open Dental. Follow these steps to set it up:

1. Download the PbN Desktop App:

• Visit the PbN website and download the Desktop App from the link at the bottom of the page.

2. Add the Open Dental Button:

• After downloading, open the PbN Desktop App.
• Navigate to the Home Screen, scroll down, and select "Add Open Dental Button."

3. Using the PbN App Button in Open Dental:

• Once the button is added, you can click the PbN App button within Open Dental to be directed to a patient's overview.

Important Note

• The PbN App button will only work when accessed from a patient's chart in Open Dental. Clicking this button elsewhere in Open Dental will result in an error.
