When you receive your S1F2 payment terminal, the package should include:
- S1F2 payment terminal
- USB cable and region-specific power plug for charging
- SIM card
- Receipt paper roll
Getting Started
Follow these steps to get your S1F2 payment terminal up and running:
Inspect the Terminal:
- Ensure the terminal and packaging are intact and untampered. Check the security seal on the box.
- Compare the serial number (S/N) on the terminal with the one on the box.
Insert the Receipt Paper Roll:
- Open the paper roll compartment cover.
- Insert the paper roll, ensuring that the paper sticks out slightly.
- Close the compartment cover.
Turn on the Terminal:
- Connect the terminal to a power supply.
- Press and hold the power button until the display turns on.
- Charge the battery for at least four hours while continuing with the next steps.
Select Your Language:
- On the Welcome screen, select your preferred language.
Connect the Terminal to Your Network:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to Wi-Fi or use the pre-installed SIM card for cellular 3G/4G connectivity.
Ready to Process Payments:
- After completing the steps above, your terminal is ready to process payments.
Maintaining Battery Performance
To prevent battery degradation:
- Store terminals in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Avoid storing terminals with battery levels over 70% or below 40%.
- Inspect the battery every six months for any signs of leakage or swelling.
- Recharge the battery to optimal levels as needed.
Using the USB-C Charging Cable
The S1F2 terminal includes a USB-C charging cable and region-specific power plug. To prevent damage:
- Insert and remove the USB-C cable by holding the end that connects to the terminal or power plug.
- Avoid bending, folding, or applying excessive force to the USB-C cable.
- Regularly inspect the USB-C cable and socket for foreign objects.
