To make your Revenue IQ Recall searches for unscheduled hygiene patients accurate, it is crucial to schedule hygiene appointments correctly in Dentrix. This allows Practice by Numbers to detect and track Recall appointments accurately.


Key Steps for Proper Appointment Scheduling

  1. Attach Continuing Care Type:

    • When creating an appointment, ensure the patient's Continuing Care type is attached in the Appointment Information panel. This step is essential for the system to recognize the appointment as a Recall appointment.
  2. Include Proper Service Codes:

    • Assign the appropriate service codes to the appointment. This ensures the appointment is correctly included in PreAppointment KPIs and other metrics.
    • Exclude from Campaigns: To prevent already scheduled hygiene patients from being included in any campaigns, make sure the Continuing Care type is properly attached.
